Arabia Mountain Engagement | Sarah + Matt

The first time I chatted with Sarah and Matt was through a Skype call while I was away for a photoshoot in Texas. We had such natural conversation and were on the exact same page as far as style, light and feel for their photo session. Anytime the words “romantic” or “dreamy” are mentioned, I’m all in. I knew we were a match made in heaven and hung up our call overwhelmed with excitement. Meeting up in person was like meeting up with old friends. It was easy breezy and the atmosphere on the mountain was so calm on this early evening. I began to give them some direction and a few prompts to loosen them up and connect with each other. They connected so instantly and sweetly that I directed less and allowed them to just be. What I admired most (and what I kept telling them) was how gentle, yet, passionate they were toward each other. They showed deep respect for one another, and I could sense the immense peace in their relationship. As if together was their safe place. Their sacred space. And being apart of that was incredibly special. I love how windswept Sarah’s hair became in the wind, as they stood in their stillness, swaying back and forth, lost in each other. They tie the knot this October!
