Jake and Marissa were so much fun to hang out with! Jake is a hockey player and travels often. Marissa loves kids and is pursuing her passions. When we arrived at our chosen location, I learned that Jake had grown up on a farm. We saw this tractor in the area we were headed for, and it felt right to use it as a prop. He was exactly in his element! I told them to imagine this was their land. We all got a big kick out of this idea and they played along perfectly. I really loved experiencing their light-hearted playfulness and their kindness toward one another. I also very much enjoyed their outfit choices, and particularly, Marissa’s hat. One of the things I admire most about my job is getting to work with people of all styles, and her chosen accessory paired well with a little editorial vibe for a few images. These two are headed toward a beautiful life together, and will no doubt make gorgeous little babies one day. ;)
