Married on a mountaintop is pretty much the best choice one can make, in my opinion. When Camden reached out to me about their North Carolina Wedding, I was so excited to say “yes!” to their intimate day (and it was even better than I had imagined). One of my favorite details about Camden and Lucas’s wedding was that their first location had to be canceled due to the excess amount of people gathering to that spot. At the time, this was devastating news to us both, as their first choice was an incredible one (and a location I had always wanted to visit!). However, sometimes when a door closes, a better one opens up, and I think this one truly took the cake.
When I think of Camden and Lucas, the best word that comes to mind is “generous”. We were only able to meet on FaceTime before we met in person on their day, due to distance. I instantly felt like we had been life-long friends. We have many amazing mutual friends that helped us connect quickly, but these two are just really good at intentionality. They are servant-hearted, kind, fun, and so loving. It’s no wonder they had just about everyone in tears on their day! This space felt sacred. It was now holy ground. And I’m just so thankful I got to play a small part.
