Paulo, Becca, and Jamie Rose. How beautiful is this family?! This was our 3rd family session together (4th session in total) and we have so much fun every time. When we first met, Jamie was only crawling. Over the years, her personality has blossomed full-force and she is such a light to be around. As a photographer, kids is where I began. They have no problem just being themselves and having fun. I’m always reminded that we have permission to do the same. Right?! As adults we can get so caught up in to-do’s and even “perfection” that we can often lose site of the simplicity of play. The rest of us were reminded of this simple truth during this session, and Paulo and Becca are such incredible parents- They always jump right in and join! If you have small kids during a photo session with me, I highly recommend doing the same! Make it fun, make it real. I’m pretty sure Jamie Rose enjoyed this session more than the rest of us. What a joyful reminder to let go, play on a rock, or run in a tall grass field.
