Caitlyn and Tim, aka, models in the making. We laughed because it’s so common for us all to get a little nervous in front of the camera and not really know how to respond when there is a one present. I always try to direct my clients toward each other, to give prompts that promote movement, connection and fun, and these two nailed it! But at first, it can feel totally awkward when you’re not used to it- and by the end of our session, Caitlyn and Tim were giving me these dreamy eyes and poses that looked straight out of a magazine. You could look at any of these photos and not for once think there was an awkward bone in their body, right?! They were so much fun to be around, so easy to hang with, and the overcast weather made for a soft/romantic session.
One of my favorite things about Caitlyn and Tim is how they spoke about each other. There is such a deep, mutual love and respect for one another. In our emails leading up to our session, Caitlyn shared that Tim will go out of his way to make life easier for her. She said they just genuinely “get along” and have a great time together. What a simple truth we can all take to heart about those we surround ourselves with! Serving those around us speaks volumes, and they do this so well. A perfect example, Caitlyn brought me homemade zucchini bread that didn’t even make it home to my house before it was gone (in my belly). It always blesses my socks off to experience such generosity from you all out there who take a chance on me. I cannot wait for their wedding in the Fall!
