I’m always honored when good friends of ours ask to book a session with me. In a city full of creatives, it’s always such a privilege to create with people I know and love. I never take that for granted! I get to experience such a unique glimpse into the loving interactions of families/couples as they bond and play together, and I simply create a story of images of how it all went down. I knew Sara and Jonathan were phenomenal parents, but after seeing them in action, I admire them all the more. They were so patient with little handsome Hudson, as he roamed around, really just wanting to play with the grass (who wouldn’t?). The weather was said to be overcast, but as we pulled in, the skies opened up to provide the magical light we had hoped for.

I love this location, but I really love these people. Sara is one of the most intentional friends I’ve known, thoughtful to her core and so creative. Jonathan is a great friend to my husband and they both serve whole heartedly at our church. Hudson is a little heart catcher and has all of us in smiles when he’s around. I’m so grateful for evenings like these.
