Southern Carolina Wedding | Abi + Jared

Abi and Jared are two of the most genuine people I’ve met. When I first got together with Abi at a coffeeshop, it felt like getting coffee with an instant friend. She shared about her first run in with Jared at his sister’s house, where she was babysitting that day. They had heard of each other previously, but hadn’t yet met. Jared asked for her number pretty quickly after, and well.. it worked out pretty well! Their wedding was set for May of 2020, but when Covid hit, they were among the many who had to reschedule. I remember Abi texting me having to change their plans and even location (from Atlanta to South Carolina), and looking back, everything worked out so beautifully! In fact, there was an added sweetness in the air, because they were technically already husband and wife. Their celebration was moved to October, but they got married on their initial wedding date, just the two of them- (which I think is so romantic!).

Pulling up to this cozy little home on this vast farmland with haystacks everywhere, my heart knew it was going to be a special day. We chased the sunset, dodged ant piles, and got to witness a glimpse of the depth of love and admiration between these two. I’m convinced that when Abi and Jared lock eyes, a stampede of wild animals could go by and they wouldn’t even notice. That’s how connected and locked into each other they become! May we all love our people that intently. They also love Jesus and others so well. Basically, they are the bees knees. Enjoy their sweet southern day.
