Rhodes Hall Day-After Session | Chris + Iris
Atlanta, GA
Chris and Iris met at a New Years Eve party in Hong Kong, where Iris was living at the time. Chris was visiting with a friend posing as traveling Canadians, as to not upset others over their American roots (this part made me laugh!). I first met Chris and Iris through a FaceTime call, and it felt like friends-at-first-sight. They were so easy going and casual, and I just knew we would be a great match. Their wedding was at Rhodes Hall, a historic house built to look like a castle, so it fit them much like a fairytale!
I love to give couples the option of a βday-afterβ session, which is a time for the bride and groom to snazzy up in their wedding attire without the stress and timeline of their formal day. Chris and Iris opted out of an engagement session in place of this set-aside time for us to return to their venue weeks later, and take our sweet time! It was just as magical and reminiscent of their day, which made it truly special. To remember the jitters, the fun, how everything looked filled with the people they care for most, and how everything came together just as planned (if not better than expected!). These two may as well be royalty.
