Rhodes Hall Wedding | Chris + Iris

Chris and Iris’s day felt like a true fairytale. Rhodes Hall is a historic house, built to mimic a castle. What better venue to choose for your wedding day than one so elegant and magical? When the three of us met up, they requested a day-after session for their newlywed photos, as to maximize their time with their guests (view that gorgeous session here!). As a refresher, a “day-after” session can be scheduled ANY day after your wedding day and not necessarily at the return of your site, but anywhere you please! It is a time to get re-glammed up in your wedding attire for a session that is relaxed and not limited by time, as perhaps the day-of can be. Fortunately, their day was perfectly paced for them to enjoy and take in each moment with their people. Their families and friends shared long community style tables, set up with intentional detail, while the grand front porch created an intimate dance party outdoors. When we returned to Rhodes Hall for their newlywed session two weeks later, it was a sweet time of reminiscing of the time spent. Wedding days can feel so fast, and taking the time to slow your mind and remain present is key. This will allow you to collect all those “feels” that you want to keep forever in your heart! Working with these two was a dream- the real life beauty & her prince.
