Katie and Max. First of all, quite possibly my favorite style any couple has shown up with. (One can never go wrong with a pink flamingo button up!). When planning Katie and Max’s session, they requested a pub in Marietta Square, a favorite of theirs, and a space that felt outdoorsy. Both of these locations were so much fun to create in, and they made it so easy! I love the twist of this colorful bar scene, followed by the evening Fall-like field. I love even more that this pub was a place they’ve built memories in and around. We had both spaces practically to ourselves, which made this session all the more fun!
These two are down to earth, easily making each other laugh and super easy to hang around. Between Katie’s homemade chocolate cookies (to which I was a very grateful receiver of, and were about halfway gone in 10 minutes), Max’s super cool hair and their playful, yet deep connection, this might be a favorite session yet! My favorite moment when photographing couples is the moment they become comfortable enough to be their authentic selves- they relax, set aside the planning and the to-do list, and simply enjoy each others company. That’s what this session felt like! Just hanging out, remembering and celebrating. I cannot wait to capture their wedding next Fall!
