Indian Seats at Sawnee Family | The Carroll’s

Cumming, GA

Meet the Carroll’s and their littlest one, Seab. When Maegan reached out about their family session and shared about their 10 month old son, I couldn’t wait to meet this sweet boy in person! He was such a personality, only truly happy when we let him roam free, feet first. Only, he cannot walk on his own, so mom and dad had to hold each hand as Seab guided their steps on his mission. How funny it was to see him light up each time he could “go”! This boy is going to be a mover. Maegan loves mountains and the West Coast, so we discussed our options, and I am so happy we chose this location. Besides the slight wind, it’s a beautiful view from the top and shows off the stunning semi-north Georgia skyline. We strategically scheduled our session to reach the bottom and arrive at our second location (a favorite little field of mine close by) to make it for sunset. There is something so magical about families in dreamy light. To me, it symbolizes the slowing down of “hurry” and the sacredness of togetherness. That might sound like a hallmark card- but it really does that! There was a stillness and calm when we reached the field; a perfect way to wrap up these fragile moments of captured time.
